Mechelle LaLanne, Mrs. LaLanne

Hi, I’m Mrs. LaLanne

I’m Mechelle LaLanne, a working classroom teacher with 26 years of experience teaching [GRADES TAUGHT]. I make lessons that any parent can open, read and teach with confidence, no teaching degree required.

[ONE OR TWO SENTENCES IN MECHELLE’S OWN WORDS ABOUT WHY SHE LOVES TEACHING]

My Story

I started writing these lessons for our grandchildren. Our kids are homeschooling their own little ones, and I wanted them to have the best materials I could make. Supporting our kids is how we help our grandkids learn.

After 26 years of teaching, I know how much a good education matters, and how much a parent who teaches their own child can shape them. You can personalize your child’s learning: push them ahead where they excel, and slow down to help where they struggle. They won’t sit bored in class or fall further and further behind while everyone else moves on. They aren’t just a number in the system. They’re your kids, and they need you.

How I Teach

[MECHELLE’S TEACHING APPROACH – to be filled in from her reply.] Every lesson is built so you can:

Each lesson lists its skill level, how long it takes and what your child will be able to do afterward.

Record grades in the built-in gradebook and print a report card whenever you need one.

A Note to Parents

If you’re just starting out, I want you to know you’re not doing this alone. You don’t need a classroom or a teaching degree. You need a plan for today, a little patience, and lessons that tell you exactly what to do.

[OPTIONAL PERSONAL NOTE FROM MECHELLE]

Warmly,
Mrs. LaLanne
